He also enrolled in a four-year law program at Northwestern California University School of Law under a state bar rule that allows students to apply to law school once they complete the College Level Examination Program, or CLEP.

CLEP, which released the images, said in a statement: "Researchers completed the preliminary analysis of the lunar surface topography around the landing site based on the image taken by the landing camera."

If a student earns 15 credits through CLEP, that’s a savings of $4,705.

Students should have more access to programs like CLEP, which allow them to "test out" and receive credit for courses in which they're already competent.
