Hubertusburg

HUBERTUSBURG, a ch�teau in the kingdom of Saxony, near the village of Wermsdorf and midway 6 m. between the towns Oschatz and Grimma.

The place cannot have been seriously injured, as it was soon afterwards the meeting-place of the diplomatists whose work ended in the peace of Hubertusburg, but the king never ceased to banter Quintus on his supposed depredations.

As regards the dates hopeless confusion prevailed, which was shared by the teacher, who was deprived of her self-possession by the visitors, and at last it was unanimously decided, with her silent consent, to transpose the peace of Hubertusburg to a period in which Frederick the Great was only preparing for war.

In Germany Lombroso has found few followers; Dr Na�cke of Hubertusburg near Leipzig, one of the most eminent of German alienists, declined to admit there was any special animal type.

If we had desired a peace like that of Hubertusburg we should have won.
