Villach

The attack took place on Saturday at Villach, a town near the border with Italy and Slovenia.

Governor Peter Kaiser of Carinthia - the region where Villach is located - described the attack as an "unimaginable atrocity".

Witnesses reported the incident to highway police, and the vehicle was towed to nearby Villach, where the truck was taken into a garage for repairs.

The plant, in Villach, Austria, can produce enough chips to equip 20 million electric vehicles, said Peter Schiefer, president of Infineon’s automotive division.
