A Team

On June 17, 1972, a team of burglars was arrested at the Democratic National Committee headquarters at the Watergate Hotel.

Young takes particular pride in VJMU’s identity as a Black- and Latino-owned car club, competing as a team in a sport that’s traditionally been dominated by affluent, white participants.

"They are built as a team with collective strength - you can see that from the way they attack and defend," he said.

Some say he has an entitled, arrogant personality that caused his slide, some say it was personal - but now he has to prove himself in a crowded quarterback room in Cleveland at a team that picked six other players, including a quarterback, ahead of him.

“When this happened, people were telling our kids we’re not going to have a team, and to transfer to other schools, and stuff like that,” Voelkel said.
