Birthday honours

Not only was Carly appointed MBE, she's on one of the honours committees that decides who else should receive an award, such as knighthoods, CBEs, MBEs and OBEs, in the New Year and King's Birthday Honours.

She was honoured in the 2023 King's Birthday Honours and joins the likes of Dame Judi Dench, Sir Elton John, David Hockney and Sir Paul McCartney in the select group.

Hundreds of sub-postmasters took legal action against the Post Office in 2017 in a campaign led by Sir Alan Bates, who was knighted in the King's Birthday Honours in June.

In 2018, she was recognised in the Queen's Birthday Honours list and appointed CBE for her services to music.

He took part in Strictly Come Dancing in 2014, and was recognised in the Queen's Birthday Honours in 2022 for his services to food and charity.
