Christian Action Network, a faith-based organization, and two families whose children attend Lynchburg public schools filed a motion seeking to have the guidelines postponed.

The Christian Action Network did not immediately respond to a question asking about the substance of its suit.

One suit was filed Monday in Lynchburg Circuit Court by the Christian Action Network, a religious advocacy group that campaigned against establishing a mosque at Ground Zero of the 9/11 terrorist attacks and which the Southern Poverty Law Center classifies as a hate group.

The December tweet about Muslim "no-go zones" included a video interview with Martin Mawyer, whose Christian Action Network made a 2009 documentary alleging Islamberg and other settlements were terrorist training camps.
