Cochabamba

After his parents separated while he was an infant, he moved to Cochabamba in Bolivia with his great-grandparents.

An armed group has taken control of a military facility near the Bolivian city of Cochabamba, the country's military says, and is holding some soldiers captive.

Cochabamba is in central Bolivia and is home to many supporters of the former president.

Morales says his car came under sustained gunfire on Sunday night in the Cochabamba region, in what he condemned as an attempt on his life.

Mr Marset is believed to have fled by car along with his wife and their three children to neighbouring Cochabamba province.
