Corsicana

America's two most famous fruitcake companies, Claxton's of Claxton, Georgia, and Collin Street of Corsicana, Texas, got their start in this heyday of mail-order food.

He had two new plays produced in New York last year: “Corsicana” at Playwrights Horizons and “Evanston Salt Costs Climbing” in a New Group production at Pershing Square Signature Center.

His recent play “Corsicana,” perhaps his most daringly personal work, was inspired by his older sister Julia, who has Down syndrome.

These are the abiding concerns that Will Arbery, a Pulitzer Prize finalist, has delineated, at oblique angles, in his previous plays, “Heroes of the Fourth Turning” and “Corsicana.”

“Corsicana” is not the first time Arbery has included disability themes and disabled actors in his work.
