The teenager, who brought a weapon to school every day, used her father's multi-tool knife to initially attack Ms Elias on 24 April 2024.

Ms Elias and Ms Hopkin suffered multiple stab wounds and both said they thought they would die in the incident on 24 April 2024.

David Elias, prosecuting, told the court that O'Driscoll, along with the other defendants, gathered near where Morgan lived with "a plan to do him harm".

Mr Elias said: "Once he turns away from you and gets into the vehicle he doesn't give off any threat."

Ruiz, 60, herself a searcher for several years, came to the isolated site to seek traces of her son, Elias Sánchez Ruiz, who, she said, was kidnapped Jan. 14, 2013, never to be seen again.
