Kieran Gibson and partner Ellen Fulton had not long moved in together when they lost nearly all their belongings in the blaze on the corner of Scott Street and South Street.

“The delirium peaked during Sly & the Family Stone’s set,” journalist Ellen Sander wrote in the liner notes of the 2019 box set “Woodstock — Back to the Garden: The Definitive 50th Anniversary Archive.”

Near the end, when an appalled Ellen says of the dizzy bunch, “We’re all horrible,” it’s hard to disagree.

And though the writers may have been reaching for dark laughs, Ellen and Richard’s excuse-laden coddling of their challenged child, presumably now in his 20s, teeters on negligence — or, at the very least, bad parenting.

"She has had lots of ups and downs but she can hold her head up really high for what she has achieved," England's record goalscorer Ellen White told the Women's Football Weekly podcast.
