Enkidu

The parallel to that is the relationship between Gilgamesh and his best friend Enkidu.

As Gilgamesh and Enkidu then become friends, and embark on a journey, my mind is transported out of the ship’s pod to the forests, oceans, and great deserts they travel to.

"He once dressed up as Gilgamesh for Halloween. I was his sidekick, Enkidu—no surprise there."

Still, much as I longed to revisit the exploits of the first superheroes, Gilgamesh and Enkidu, it would be, as Mr. Spock used to say, “illogical.”
