Simultaneously juggling a number of other events such as Evita, Rasputin and Mr. Black, Rigal decided to shelve Simon Says for the time being.

The show, which will be performed at the Hall for Cornwall in Truro on Wednesday, is set to include numbers from stage shows, including Jesus Christ Superstar, Evita and Chess.

She is now signed up to star in Evita in the West End this summer, and on Friday, she made a splash in a different way - reading a CBeebies Bedtime Story.

The pair, who penned a trio of theatrical smashes in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Jesus Christ Superstar, and Evita, have written songs for a new comedy entitled Sherlock Holmes and the 12 Days of Christmas.

Webber had previously won an Oscar for 1996’s “Evita” and was nominated for his work on “Jesus Christ Superstar” in the early 1970s; it was Hart’s first and only nomination.
