Police titled a social media post about the case “Stick Shift FTW,” which is an acronym for “for the win.”

The social media users referred back to a June tweet where Perry wrote, “Rick Caruso FTW!”

FTW means “for the win” But to fans’ never-ending chagrin It’s not hard to foresee That our WFT Will have gone FTL yet agin.

Among them: “TBH”, an abbreviation for “to be honest” and “FTW,” an abbreviation for “for the win.”

Merriam-Webster explains that FTW is used “especially to express approval or support. In social media, FTW is often used to acknowledge a clever or funny response to a question or meme.”
