The main parade is scheduled to start at 12:00 BST and finish at 18:00, running from Hyde Park Corner, through Piccadilly Circus, down Haymarket along Cockspur to Trafalgar Square, culminating at Whitehall Place.

Disruption was also seen in Glasgow, and a store at Edinburgh Haymarket seemingly closed early.

The company currently managing the building, Haymarket, told the BBC the works required by the fire service had cost about £13,000, which leaseholders said was more than covered by what they had given to Urban Evolution.

Harris has received several honors, including fellowships with PEN America, Hedgebrook and Haymarket Books, as well as Tin House, Baldwin for the Arts and Edith Wharton residencies.

The production, directed by James MacDonald, is running at the Theatre Royal Haymarket in London.
