After her “AGT” elimination, Ridley continued to bring her music to various stages including New York’s Highline Ballroom and the daytime space with an appearance on Harry Connick Jr.’s talk show “Harry.”

In past festival iterations, Westerlies clinics have centered on South Seattle, from the Highline school district to Hawthorne Elementary.

This school year, Cascade is bringing “Let’s Go” to Spokane, Tacoma, Bellingham, Highline, Everett and Vancouver, and some schools in Wenatchee and Anacortes.

“Kids are always asking about the program,” said Olga Niculita, who has been a physical education teacher for 10 years at Gregory Heights Elementary in the Highline School District.

Other districts have taken migrant students, too, including Highline, with 50 new students since January, and Kent, with 12.
