She was the youngest of three children of Salomon Minco, a traveling salesman, and Grietje Minco-Van Hoorn.

Treasure House was established by two of Masterpiece’s original founders, Harry Van der Hoorn and Thomas Woodham-Smith.

“Because of the geopolitical situation we have now with Russia, I feel that everybody sees the urgency” is greater now, said Melissa van Hoorn, the regional minister for climate and energy transition.
