Four deaths were reported in Ukraine's western Khmelnytskyi region.

Air force officials said one Kinzhal missile managed to evade air defences and hit an area around the Starokostiantyniv airfield in the Khmelnytskyi region.

Russian aerial strikes were also reported in the Khmelnytskyi and Dnipropetrovsk, but there were no injuries.

Ukrainian officials said air defense units intercepted 31 Shahed drones and 12 cruise missiles launched by Russia in the Mykolaiv, Odesa, Dnipropetrovsk, Poltava, Zaporizhzhia, Khmelnytskyi, Kirovohrad, Vinnytsia and Chernihiv regions.

A Russian drone on Sunday morning struck an unspecified facility in Ukraine’s western Khmelnytskyi region, the regional military administration reported without giving details.
