Kunming

Guaiqiong Li is an assistant research fellow in African studies at Yunnan University in Kunming, China.

Leading a large delegation of officials and business figures, Min Aung Hlaing arrived on Tuesday in Kunming, a city in the province of Yunnan, which shares a long border with Myanmar.

But at its heart is a railway line that will connect Kunming - the capital of Yunnan province - to Kyaukphyu, a deep sea port the Chinese are building on Myanmar’s western coast.

Now they are working with the government of the city of Kunming, China to see if they can learn to easily clone good police dogs.

Kunxun is a Kunming wolfdog – a kind of dog similar to a German Shepherd.
