Langshan

Langshan, lang′shan, n. a small black Chinese hen.

The principal so-called meat breeds are the Brahma, Cochin, and Langshan.

The year following the Langshan winning, the first eleven winning pens were all S.C.W.

Besides fruit, flowers, and vegetables, the exhibits include such produce as butter and eggs, and my wife was very successful with these, but on one occasion was rather disappointed to find a beautiful dish of Langshan eggs, almost preternaturally brown and rich-looking, disqualified.
