Lukan already works in multiple TV and digital roles with the team and network and co-hosts a “Too Many Men” national hockey podcast, so it’s unclear whether she’d have been interested in taking on the daily grind and travel schedule of the 82-game radio job.

Throw in multitalented reporter Piper Shaw — an aspiring musician who recently released songs on Spotify — and analytics specialist Alison Lukan along with Olczyk’s son, Nick, as a studio analyst and it’s tough to find a more comprehensive local NHL broadcast.

Alexander Lukan and Dennis Galitsky, who work as freelancers in western Ukraine near Ivano-Frankivsk, have both volunteered to serve on the territorial defense forces.

Forwards Jacob Leicht, Logan Hunter and Conner Lukan and defensemen Stephen Wack, Adam Herold, Logan Boulet and Xavier Labelle were also among the dead, according to family members and others.
