Ben Stewart, 32, from Northampton, reversed to the peak of Mount Kilimanjaro, in Tanzania, and back, to raise money for the British Heart Foundation.

A total of 26 hikers paid Aspire Adventures, based in Brynrefail, Gwynedd, up to £3,500 each to scale Mount Kilimanjaro and cover costs for accommodation, equipment and guides.

In 2023 she climbed Mount Kilimanjaro to raise funds for Breast Cancer Kent.

Christmas is a very difficult time for Gillian, so last year she decided to spend it climbing Mount Kilimanjaro, which was "incredibly emotional".
