Nafl

I had promised a hundred raakat nafl when I’d first asked God to give me height, so I have given him those prayers.

I even promised that if I could grow just a tiny bit taller—even an inch—I would offer a hundred raakat nafl, extra prayers on top of my daily ones.

Nafl are voluntary prayers the performance of which is considered mustahab, or meritorious, but they are not of divine obligation.

In order to relieve him as much as possible, two nafl rak'ats of a Nam�z should be said.

They then divest themselves of their ordinary clothing, and after a legal ablution, and after saying a Nam�z of two nafl rak'ats they put on the Ihr�m.
