Orbiting Geophysical Observatory

At a space conference in July in Pasadena, California, Rosengren and his colleagues reported on their analysis of US Orbiting Geophysical Observatory satellites from the 1960s.

A participant in 90% of the Government's missile-space projects, it is currently building Comsat communications satellites, NASA's Orbiting Geophysical Observatory and engines for the Apollo project's Lunar Excursion Module.

It is prime contractor on the Orbiting Geophysical Observatory.
