Procrastination is the thief of time

Phrases from the book – “Barkis is willin’”, “Procrastination is the thief of time: collar him”, “Ever so ’umble”, “Something will turn up” – feel like remembered lines from an old hymnal.

As Dr. King observed, in a context that was at once very different and not so different, procrastination is “the thief of time.”

From General Peckem’s office on the mainland came prolix bulletins each day headed by such cheery homilies as “Procrastination is the Thief of Time” and “Cleanliness is Next to Godliness.”

He who hesitates is lost. Procrastination is the thief of time.
