If this event didn’t come to your city, you missed that this was even happening, or perhaps thought that the ticket prices were rather high for what was — at least originally — billed as book promo, you can now experience a version of what your host terms “a quarter-man show” from the comfort of your living room.

On Tuesday, the network dropped a promo video featuring both the classic song and Fagan’s AI-generated voice.

Four hours after the promo video was posted on YouTube, it had received 25 comments, most of which criticized the decision to use AI to generate the voice of someone who is no longer alive.

Careful and painstaking conservation work, such as the work restoring wood bison herds to Alaska, is overlooked in favor of designer species given meme-sprinkled promo reels.
