For an unknown period of time, authorities say, a 24-year-old man had been accumulating a massive cache of fireworks in a rear home off Remington Street that for reasons still to be determined, suddenly detonated last week, exploding out in all directions.

Thursday about an explosion inside a home in the 13500 block of W. Remington Street.

The explosion was reported at 9:01 a.m. in the 13500 block of W. Remington Street, where firefighters arrived to find light smoke coming out of the damaged home, according to an alert from the Los Angeles Fire Department.

The first typewriter was unveiled by Remington in 1886.

His law firm won a $73 million dollar settlement against Remington on behalf of nine Sandy Hook families.
