After Brooke Blankenship’s RBI single tacked on one more run in the first, South Carolina star slugger Arianna Rodi delivered a two-run single in the second inning to knock Terry from the circle.

“I pray that this decision is one more way in which we can all move toward peace after these unsettling events. I continue to pray for God’s grace to bring healing for all,” Archbishop Thomas J. Rodi said in a statement.

“I join with you who are concerned, sad, angry about the behavior of Alex Crow,” Rodi said in the video message.

Archbishop Thomas J. Rodi said in a video posted on Facebook on Monday that church officials alerted the local district attorney as soon as they learned what happened.

Rodi said Crow was immediately directed to cease acting as a priest and “he could not continue to tell people he’s a priest.”
