San Juan Capistrano

Service on the oceanside rail — which extends from Dana Point in south Orange County to the southernmost stops in San Diego County, including San Clemente, San Juan Capistrano and Oceanside — is set to resume June 7, according to an Orange County Transportation Authority update.

Due to the closures that began Monday, Metrolink’s Orange County and Inland Empire-Orange County train routes will temporarily begin and end at the Laguna Niguel/Mission Viejo Station — completely shuttering service to the lines’ four most southern stops: San Juan Capistrano, San Clemente, San Clemente Pier and Oceanside.

The seventh-seeded Cubs played their San Juan Capistrano rivals even through the first 40 minutes.

Some restaurant owners, such as Jasmin Gonzalez, who runs Breezy in San Juan Capistrano, have opted to raise prices on other menu items and avoid a price hike on the restaurant’s popular egg dishes.

You can see buckwheats at the California Botanic Garden in Claremont, the state’s largest garden devoted to California native plants, as well as at the Theodore Payne Foundation in Sun Valley and Tree of Life Nursery in San Juan Capistrano.
