Shah of Iran

Right now there are different options, including Reza Pahlavi, the exiled son of the former Shah of Iran, who is now living abroad.

She left Iran when her family, part of the Shah of Iran’s administration, was on the losing side of the Iranian Revolution of 1979.

The museum was built in 1977 under the patronage of Pahlavi, the exiled widow of the last Shah of Iran who was overthrown during the revolution.

After five years of conflict, the group negotiated an end to the fight with the Shah of Iran.

Diplomatic relations between those two countries were ruptured after Egypt provided refuge to the Shah of Iran after the Iranian revolution of 1979.
