Sivaji

I was out gathering cow dung, I did not see Sivaji come, and he left quickly as soon as he had delivered his message.

“We are to move. Sivaji came this morning. He says there is nothing to be done.”

In the morning Sivaji came, and my husband took the money and counted it out in front of him.

“It is not for me,” Sivaji answered.

So we stood and argued and begged, and in the end Sivaji agreed to wait.
