For the last year, they've been working with the National Theatre of Scotland to revive them, along with long-suffering stewardess Shona Spurtle and the unhinged Captain Hilary Duff.

And speaking of things Scottish, today is World Porridge Day, which means it is time for the Golden Spurtle World Porridge Making Championship.

The coveted Golden Spurtle is awarded to the maker of the best traditional porridge using three ingredients - oatmeal, water and salt.

On Saturday Ms Williams beat 25 other competitors vying to win the Golden Spurtle.

They each won a hand-carved commemorative spurtle.
