Marvin Levy, a top-notch publicist who forged a nearly 50-year working bond with Steven Spielberg, died Monday at age 96.

Since its founding, Bleecker Street has released more than 75 films, including the 2017 Steven Soderbergh comedy “Logan Lucky,” 2024’s Oscar-nominated “Golda,” comedy-drama “Hard Truths” and, most recently, “The Wedding Banquet,” a remake of the 1993 Ang Lee romantic comedy starring Bowen Yang, Lily Gladstone and Kelly Marie Tran.

Alice Coltrane’s nephew, musician Steven Ellison, stage name Flying Lotus, played a gorgeous DJ set on the opening night of “Monument Eternal,” on Feb. 8, at the Hammer Museum’s ongoing exhibition devoted to Alice Coltrane’s life and work.
