He describes living on Stromboli as a bit like being on one of the miniature planets in the universe of “The Little Prince,” the story by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry where the eponymous boy visits a number of lonely worlds.

The best of humankind is in the character of the Little Prince: the kindness, the oddness, the endless inquisitiveness, the genius of creativity.

Perhaps this will give the little prince the proper time to warm up to everyone's favorite political figure.
