Wales' first ever game at a major tournament will be played in Lucerne, where thundery showers and light winds are forecast, along with a highs of 30C.

The heat and higher humidity will then bring the chance of some heavy and thundery showers across eastern areas overnight.

The heatwave could peak on Saturday at a possible high of 34C, with thundery showers forecast for North Wales and northwest England, and dry and hot conditions in the east.

There will be thundery showers in the west at the weekend, but for many, especially in the east, the heat will remain.

By Sunday things become more uncertain and we may see fresher air move in from the Atlantic with a risk of thundery downpours.
