There’s no denying the pleasure of seeing Dickens’s Peggottys transformed into the kindly Peggots, or his oily villain Uriah Heep recast as a sniveling assistant football coach named U-Haul Pyles.

Ken Hensley, best known as the keyboardist, guitarist and songwriter for the British hard rock band Uriah Heep, died on Wednesday at age 75.

However, the relationships formed there eventually led to the formation of Uriah Heep in the 1970s.

Former Uriah Heep keyboard player Ken Hensley has died at the age of 75.
