The Trump administration has already carried out several deportations of Venezuelan immigrants to the notorious prison, without offering them a day in court.

On April 19, the Supreme Court ruled against the Trump administration, halting the deportation of Venezuelan migrants.

In March, more than 200 Venezuelans deemed a danger to the US, were deported to El Salvador, many under sweeping wartime powers and without the usual process of evidence being presented in court.

He was talking about the hundreds of Venezuelan men expelled from the country without due process and sent to a prison in El Salvador, where, according to the administration, they should remain until they die.

Last week, however, he filed an appeal on behalf of a Venezuelan man held in Texas, arguing that it would be unconstitutional for the government to send his client to a brutal prison.
