Victoria and Albert Museum

The Princess of Wales has visited the Victoria and Albert Museum's storehouse in East London, seeing a project that wants to make the museum's huge collection available to a wider range of people.

One of his designs, a colourful patchwork crochet cardigan worn by singer Harry Styles which inspired a viral TikTok trend amongst fans during the Covid-19 pandemic, was added to London's Victoria and Albert Museum fashion collection earlier this year.

The east London venue, a branch of the Victoria and Albert Museum, reopened in July 2023 after being closed for a three-year £13m redevelopment.

Her work has previously been showcased at the Victoria and Albert Museum.

During their time in the UK, the Japanese emperor royals will visit the Francis Crick Institute, a Young Victoria and Albert Museum exhibition about Japan and the world's largest collection of wild plant seeds at Kew Gardens.
