Filmmaker John Waters turns 79 with a show at the Wallis.

To celebrate, he booked a tour of a one-man show, “John Waters’ Birthday Celebration: The Naked Truth,” which stops at the Wallis in Beverly Hills on Saturday.

In the meantime, Morris’ “Pepperland” reaches the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts in Beverly Hills next month and the Music Center Plaza in downtown L.A. is offering daily two-minute afternoon breathing and Morris-choreographed movement “microbreaks,” meant to help us “pause, reflect and recharge.”

Damien McBeath, headteacher of John Wallis Academy in Ashford, said the school had implemented the pouches in January, which had a "huge" positive impact.

Monday was momentous for the Wallis Annenberg Wildlife Crossing although it still looked like a bridge to nowhere from the 101 Freeway, where more than 300,000 vehicles stream endlessly every day.
